The honor roll lists for the second quarter were posted in school this week for our students to review. Today, these lists were sent to the Indianapolis Star and you can click here to see the online posting. It was also submitted to the Zionsville Times Sentinel so be sure to watch for it there.
7/8 Boys Basketball AAU Tryouts

Tryouts will be held for 7th & 8th grade boys interested in playing AAU basketball on Sunday, February 5th at the ZCHS Varsity Gym. 7th grade tryouts will take place from 2:00-3:30pm followed by 8th grade tryouts from 3:45-5:15pm. Please click here for the tryout form. This completed form should be turned in to the coach at the tryout. Tryouts are closed to parents.

Tri-M Recital

On January 25, the ZMS Tri-M Music Honor Society will be hosting a recital for all students performing in the ISSMA Solo and Ensemble music competitions and students taking private lessons. The recital will take place at 7:00 PM in Eagle Hall. Sign up sheets are located in the music hallway and the orchestra room. Contact your music teacher or a Tri-M member with any questions.

Super Kids – Super Sharing

Just a reminder that the last day to donate items for the Super Bowl donation project Super Kids-Super Sharing project is Tuesday January 17.
Our school is collecting lightly used (or new) books, sports equipment and school supplies. Donated items will be distributed to lower income schools and to programs that serve local children in need. All types of sports equipment, books of all reading levels, and all types of school supplies are needed.
Please bring those items to school and place them in collection boxes located near the entrance of the school.

Girls Tennis Callout

The callout meeting for the ZMS Girls Tennis Team will take place on Thursday, January 19th at 3:00 pm in the LGI room. All interested 6th, 7th & 8th grade girls should plan to attend. Practice starts on Monday, March 26th from 3:00-5:00pm. There will be a parent meeting on Monday, April 9th after practice at 5:00pm. The first match is Tuesday, April 10th. Team Witsken will provide used racquets for the season for anyone in need at no charge.
