Zionsville Middle School

Iron Eagles is not just for football players and not just for boys!  This speed development training is for boys and girls, grades 3-8.  Athletes will be taught and drilled in agilities, flexibility, “form” running, speed development, circuit training, Plyometrics, core development and proper running form.  A base line test will be given and progress will be measured throughout the course. 

Grade level:  3-8

Days:  Tuesdays & Thursdays

Dates:  March 1st-27th

Tryouts will be held for 7th & 8th grade boys interested in playing AAU basketball on Sunday, February 5th at the ZCHS Varsity Gym.  7th grade tryouts will take place from 2:00-3:30pm followed by 8th grade tryouts from 3:45-5:15pm.  Please click here for the tryout form.  This completed form should be turned in to the coach at the tryout.  Tryouts are closed to parents.

The callout meeting for the ZMS Girls Tennis Team will take place on  Thursday, January 19th at 3:00 pm in the LGI room.  All interested 6th, 7th & 8th grade girls should plan to attend.  Practice starts on Monday, March 26th from 3:00-5:00pm.  There will be a parent meeting on Monday, April 9th after practice at 5:00pm.  The first match is Tuesday, April 10th.    Team Witsken will provide used racquets for the season for anyone in need at no charge.
