Dear 8th Grade Parents,
The 8th Grade Party is around the corner and we wanted to give you some important party information. The party is scheduled for Friday, June 3 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Invitations will be mailed home soon.
T-Shirt Information
The order form is attached and is due this Thursday, May 5. T-shirts are not required, but a nice keepsake. They are green with Class of 2015 on the front and a big “Z” filled with everyone’s signature on the back. We are selling them at cost for $7.00. The money and order form are due to your child’s SOAR teacher.

Volunteering
If you are willing to volunteer to help set-up, chaperone, serve food, take pictures or clean-up please contact Robin Miiller at robinmiiller5@aol.com. There are plenty of opportunities to help.
Donations
There will be a raffle at the party. If you are willing to donate a gift card ($5 or $10 to McDonalds, DQ, iTunes, etc.) or a prize please drop it off at the ZMS front office or mail to Michele Boeck at 10192 Hickory Ridge Drive. Cash donations are also accepted-made out to ZMS PTO.
Decorations
Tami Hobick is chairing the Decorations Committee and is looking for 3 blue pop up tents to borrow for the night. If you have one are willing to let us borrow it please let Tami know at thobick@indy.rr.com. We will have a few other opportunities to help with decorations the week of the party-if you are available please let Tami know.

8th Grade Party Raffle Donations

We are collecting donations for the 8th Grade Party Raffle.
We are looking for gift cards to local restaurants (Starbucks. McDonalds, Dairy Queen, etc) in denominations of $5 and $10 dollars. If you’re willing to donate please drop off at the school in an envelope marked 8th Grade Party or mail to Michele Boeck at 10192 Hickory Ridge Dr. Cash donations also accepted.

Ice Cream Sundae Sales

Each year the 8th Grade Party Committee sells ice cream sundaes to the students to raise money for the end of the year party. The committee has chosen one Friday per month to sell the sundaes during lunch. The sundaes will be available for $1 each and the kids will get to pick their toppings. The first ice cream sale is Friday, October 14th.
A 10 sundae punch-card is available for purchase for $10 or your child can bring $1 on sale days. If you choose to buy a punch-card, simply print and fill out the form here and return it with your $10 to the office. Our committee will hold on to all punch-cards so no worries of your child losing it! Checks can be made out to ZMS-PTO. No refunds will be given at the end of the year….any unused punches will be donated to the PTO. Thank you for supporting PTO and the 8th Grade Party Committee!
8th Grade Party Meeting
