TIME IS RUNNING OUT TO REGISTER FOR Z’RUN!

Don’t forget to pre-register by Friday, April 22nd to be guaranteed a t-shirt. We have a new design and pre-registration is the only way to be GUARANTEED a shirt. You can pick up a registration form in the ZMS office, or go to www.tuxbro.com and register online. The race is Saturday, April 30th at 9:00 a.m. at ZMS. We will have race day registration, but we will only have a small quantity and limited sizes of race day t-shirts and no post-race orders will be placed. Gift certificates from The Running Company will be awardd to the top three overall males and top three overall females. In addition, gift certificates will be awarded to the top three runners in each age group.

Z’Run is an important fundraising event that directly impacts ZMS. In the past, proceeds have been used to furnish our fitness room, to sponsor an artist-in-residence, and to establish our outdoor classroom, among others. Please consider supporting this worthwhile event!

Z’RUN

Join the ZMS PTO for the 9th Annual Z’Run on Saturday, April 30th at 9am. The event is a 5K run/walk with a 1-Mile Family Walk/Dog walk. Proceeds are used to fund ZMS PTO Grants.

Pre-Registration Deadline: April 22nd
Register online at http://www.tuxbro.com or register in person on event day – Saturday, April 30.

* Pre-Registration Individual Fees for the 5K or 1-Mile are $17.

* A Group/Family of at least 3 or more may sign up for the discounted fee of $15 for the first two entries and $10 for each additional entry.

* For all ZMS Students, you may sign up for just $12.

* ZMS Staff may enter at no cost but must use a pass-code to enter.

*6 and under are FREE

Shirts are guaranteed for pre-registration by April 16 only!

Event day pricing is $20/ person; Group/Family of at least 3 or more members are $18 for first two and $10 for each additional entry.

Special Note: Race Day shirts will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis – Shirts and/or correct size shirt are not guaranteed on the day of the event.

Schedule

7:45 AM to 8:45 AM: Registration & packet pick-up (ZMS South Gym)
9:00 AM: 5k run/walk
9:05 AM: 1-Mile Walk/Dog walk
10:00 AM: Awards (Inside track)

Awards/Age Groups

* Overall top finishers (M&F) will receive awards.
* In addition, top finishers in age groups will also receive awards (based on pre-registration).

Age Groups are: 8 under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39 ….up to 70+

* Awards are for 5K only.
* Door prizes will be awarded to the participants in the 1-Mile event.

Course

The 5K Course will travel along city streets and the scenic Zionsville trail. The 1-Mile event will travel thru the new Mulberry Fields Park. Both courses are flat. There will be one water station along the 5K route.
