Attention Incoming 5th Graders!

In an effort to help students transition from elementary school to middle school, we will be offering OPTIONAL 1 hour Tech Boot Camp sessions to any incoming 5th grader at Zionsville Middle School. Boot Camp sessions will be held on July 30, 31, and August 1. Sessions are held at 12:30-1:30PM and 1:30-2:30PM each day. Students will be encouraged to bring their laptop as we learn how to:

  • Access and connect to the school’s wireless network
  • Log into Office 365
  • Access e-mail
  • Save files to OneDrive
  • Download Office 2016 for FREE if needed
  • Log into Canvas
  • Set-up the dashboard
  • Access messages
  • Find daily agenda
  • Setup Wireless Printing

Parents are welcome to stay and learn as well, but the 1 hour session will be student focused. Space is limited!

If you are unable to make it to one of these optional sessions, don’t worry! At the start of the school year 5th grade teachers will spend time in class familiarizing students with these tools that will be utilized on a regular basis in and out of school.
